The winding machine handles yarn, wool, and filament, and runs either by hand or off a drill with the included adapter. Use a regular drill. A hammer drill will wreck it.

Spools come in five packs, and the parts that wear out are sold on their own, so a worn spool does not mean a new machine.

The RYOBI 40V battery wall mount sits here too. It has nothing to do with winding, but it is the other thing that ends up screwed to a workshop wall.
