Winding Machine Instructions
Usage guidelines for the drill adapter on Worm Pop Labs winding machines. Read the speed and torque notes before you start — most damage to these comes from the drill, not the machine.
Drill adapter usage
- Insert the drill adapter into the shaft and connect the other end of the adapter to a low powered drill or electric screwdriver.
- Turn the drill on slowly and increase the speed slowly. Avoid abruptly starting or stopping the drill — the torque may be too aggressive depending on your drill, and the friction and torque forces can damage the machine or the adapter.
- Use a light drill or electric screwdriver, set to its lowest setting and in screw mode.
What this is not built for
Do not
This is not an industrial machine and is not designed for high torque or high RPM. The drill adapter is meant for slow, light rotations. Do not use a hammer drill.
