Quick take: Samsung tablets use a model code that starts with SM-, like SM-X200. Open Settings, tap About tablet, and it is on the Model number line. Then find it in the table below or in the tablet model lookup.
Find the model number in Settings
- Open Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap About tablet.
- The Model number line shows the code, starting with SM-.
What the SM- code means
The full code is often longer, like SM-X200NZAEXAC. The first part, SM-X200, is the model. The letters after it stand for colour, storage and the region the tablet was sold in. For fit, only the first part matters.
Wi-Fi and cellular versions of the same tablet have different codes. The Galaxy Tab A8 is SM-X200 with Wi-Fi and SM-X205 with LTE, for example. The table lists the Wi-Fi code; a cellular version of the same tablet is the same size and shape.

Which wall mount fits my Galaxy Tab?
Every Galaxy Tab in the table has been fit-tested with these mounts:
The low-profile Samsung mount goes up with 2 screws or with command strips. The tablet slides down onto the wall plate and lifts off for charging or cleaning.
